Began as a small evening school — around fifty children attending two-hour classes in English, Mathematics and life skills.

Children joined art, craft, sports activties, exhibitions and cultural programmes through Ruchi's Institute of Creative Arts Polytechnic.

Many children discontinued education as families could no longer afford fees. The need for an affordable school became urgent.

Takshila Public School was established as an English-medium school in 2023— recognised Nursery to Class V, now approved up to Class VIII.
